Beci Orpin is a creative practitioner based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her work occupies a space between illustration, design and craft. Beci has run her studio for over 20 years, exhibiting her work both locally and internationally. Her work is described as colourful, graphic, bold, feminine and dream-like. She has been referred to as a "national treasure'.

Beci’s work is often quite colourful, so it was a joy to create something in black and white!.

The scalloped and angular geometries create a rhythm, while the stacked triangular forms play off and complement the ANTI logo.

Textures and wavy lines emulate hair, incorporating dimension within the composition. Through these elements, the pattern becomes quite optical, with positive and negative space engaged in conversation with each other.

All elements together are simultaneously simple and complex, orderly and chaotic, but united create a sense of calm and unity.
