Styling SZA for the Super Bowl LIX Music Halftime Show.
Super Bowl LIX halftime show on Feb. 9, Sza stepped on stage wearing an all red outfit and crimson hair to match. Hairstylist Devante Turnbull, who regularly works with the five-time Grammy Award winner as well as stars like Kelly Rowland, prepped her curly tresses with K18 hair products — and we have all the details.

Step 1: To Strengthen & Protect the hair I sprayed K18 Professional Molecular Repair Mist evenly throughout the hair to strengthen and prepare it for chemical processing. Let it sit for 4 minutes before proceeding. Do not rinse out.
Step 2: Lightening the hair. Apply the bleach evenly on the hair. Allowed that to process for 30 minutes to achieve a level 6 dark blonde base.
Step 3: I rinse & shampooed the hair with the K18 PEPTIDE PREP Detox Shampoo and allowed the hair to air dry.
Step 4: Next, I colored and treated the hair by applying the K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask to repair and restore strength. I let that sit for 4 mins.
Step 5: Now time to dry the hair. I used GHD Professional Hair Dryer with the diffuser while maintaining natural movement and definition.
Step 6: Styling is my favorite part. We like to create a unique texture by using different curlers and curling in different directions. I used the GHD Curve Wand and the GHD Thin Wand.
Step 7: Blend & Set time. I gently separate and blend the curls using both my fingers and the ghd all rounder paddle brush for a more organic feel. I finished the look with K18 Molecular Repair Hair Oil, for added shine, frizz control, and nourishment.
This process will give you beautifully colored, healthy, and uniquely styled hair with a multidimensional curl pattern!
